Madeline Ben-Shoham

Madeline has been scribbling in notebooks since she was 5 years old.  She grew up in Southern California, but has spent the majority of her adult years in New York and the Bay Area.  Madeline received an MFA in Poetry, and was published in a variety of literary journals before turning her attention to screenwriting full time.

    Heard you on Shriekfest Radio recently – great job. Your cautionary tale about not having a follow up script when agents/producers come calling after you have something that hits is good advice. Denise is the best and “Gemini’s Children” sounds intriguing.

    I’m a horror & comedy screenwriter and my feature “Nevermore” won Shriekfest’s Best Horror Feature Screenplay in 2012. Still trying to find folks interested in producing it – plenty of people love the script, but that movie “The Raven” with John Cusack slowed people’s roll on Poe.

    Anyway, always looking for good horror writers to swap scripts with for notes and honest feedback. Email me if you’re game.
